Remembering Mary Ann

Created by John 11 years ago
Dear Family, I cannot image the depth of your loss. I’ve worked with your wife/mother for the last 6 years and have known her for longer than that. We were on the same schedule for most of that time and visited often. She was very proud of you all and never missed an opportunity to share stories, particularly when both of our youngest children entered college at the same time. Mary Ann knew my sister Alicia who used to fly for shared services when we all worked for Arco. My sister started flying again after a 15 year absence this last summer and Mary Ann noticed right away that she was back but she didn’t know that was my sister. In one of our conversations around the coffee pot I told her that was my sister she said “no way”. It was a running joke for quite a while between Mary Ann and I that that wasn’t my sister, I was making it up, until finally she asked Alicia about her brother. She still teased me. I really liked Mary Ann and will miss her, she was always quick with a smile, conversation and a little ribbing.
