Mary Ann Enright-Ebnet died suddenly from a massive brain hemorrhage on January 24, 2013. Her husband Marvin and two children, Adam and Angeline were at her side. Mary Ann was born and raised in the Bristol Bay Village of Ugashik. Her school years were spent with the Tengs family in Haines, Alaska. Mary Ann attended American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, and graduated in 1976 with a degree in Medical Technology. Mary Ann returned to Alaska and worked as a Medical Technologist at the Alaska Native Medical Center. In 1978 Mary Ann began a career with Atlantic Richfield Company and later with BP Exploration as a Chemist and Chemistry Lab Supervisor. For the past four years she worked in Mechanical Integrity as a Team Leader. Throughout her 34 years at ARCO/BP Mary Ann’s co-workers became her beloved extended family; she was admired and highly respected. Mary Ann spent part of her summers at the family set-net site in Bristol Bay for most of her adult life. She not only picked fish with the family she managed to put together fabulous meals. Fish camp will never be the same. Mary Ann had a love of cooking and entertaining. She was a wonderful cook and put her expertise on display when entertaining family and friends, especially at her annual Christmas party. A second passion was interior decorating. She enjoyed researching and discussing her home décor with friends. Mary Ann loved to travel. Her trips took her to many places in the world. The trips that were her favorite included the entire family. Mary Ann’s most precious joy was her son Adam and daughter Angeline. She was exceedingly proud of their accomplishments and how they lived their lives. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Marvin, son Adam and daughter Angeline, sisters Margaret, Eileen, Hannah, Nora, Hattie, and Cathy, brothers Tim and Maurice, mother-in-law Edna Ebnet, brother-in-laws Allen, Duane and Arthur Ebnet. She was preceded in death by her father Michael, mother Olga, brother Tommy, sister-in-law Diane and father-in-law Lawrence Ebnet. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish located at 2901 East Huffman Road, Anchorage. There will be viewing from 9 to 10 am and a mass at 10 am. There will be a luncheon reception following mass
